Meaning as an Essential Need

We need meaning in our lives, or in other words, we need our lives to have meaning. Our hormones and nervous systems respond to the presence and absence of meaning in our lives. That is a stunning observation. So too is the finding from a medical study in 2020 that the presence and search for meaning in life are important for health and well-being.

Do you find yourself feeling more energetic, happy and even alive when you are doing something that is meaningful? What do you do in a day, that is meaningful? Are you actively searching for something meaningful to do?
